National Arts Award 2023/2024 Musical Interpretation Contest for Guitar, Harp and Mandolin. Thursday, November 14, 2024, at 9.30 am in the Church of San Domenico, at the Vicenza Conservatory of Music “A. Pedrollo” the jury, consisting of Prof. Timmerman Alex, Prof. Biraghi Francesco and Prof. Maurizio Cinzia as well as the candidates of the contest, will be welcomed. This will be followed by a guided exhibition of “The 18 Guitars of Pedrollo” and a conference at approximately 10:00 o’clock held by the President of the Jury, Maestro Alex Timmerman, entitled “The European expansion of the Italian mandolin through the centuries”. At the end of the conference there will be a short musical moment by some students of the Conservatory of Vicenza. At 11:30 the preliminary phase of the PNA 2024 that lasts until Saturday, November 16, will begin. The Concert of the winners will be held on Sunday, November 17, at 5 pm, at the Gallerie d’Italia – Palazzo Leoni Montanari, in Vicenza.
